I wanted to share with you my latest shopping precinct discovery in Sydney, Barangaroo. Some familiar faces as well as some new fashionistas make up the offering on The Streets Of Barangaroo.

Surry Hills locals The Standard Store have opened here as have Paddington lads Belance, then there is Collector, Optique, Shirt Bar and The Waiting Room all offering a nicely curated boutique collections. David Jones has a small two level space. However, the casual dining options should not be overlooked. You'd be hard pressed to get in to most of the venues at lunchtime given their popularity. I loved the food at Devon Café and the coffee at Shirt Bar. The Streets of Barangaroo are right on the water and feels super clean, friendly and chic. Do yourself a favour and head down on the weekend when its not so busy, do some shopping and have a bite.

Hands down my favourite time of day, the golden hour. Having this view at the end of my street, I will never take for granted. This is a time for me to slow down, relax and appreciate this one life we live.

On the weekends I tend to leave tailoring in the closet and go for comfort over anything else. The hero in this casual and comfortable ensemble is the Topman satin bomber jacket. A difficult colour to describe a little like champagne I suppose, not gold, not green but certainly has a sheen. When the colour is difficult like this one, try neutrals like - black, grey, olive green and navy. I have it paired back with A Brand skinny black jeans and an AS Colour white t-shirt finishing off the look with white Aquila sneakers.

Wear this look anywhere in the daytime over the weekend. The park, your local cafe or even a gallery visit. Simple elegant combinations will give casual ensembles a chic edge. White sneakers will always complete smart casual combination, so keep them clean.
